Committees

One row per committee or subcommittee of any Congress the Congress.gov committee list route states, keyed on the publisher's systemCode, with the detail record's history, subcommittees, parent and currency folded on where captured. All columns are stored as VARCHAR.

Coverage. Sampled. Since 2026-09-26 the Congress.gov committee route is walked whole with no Congress: every committee of every Congress the publisher records, because committee_meetings keeps the previous Congress and bill_committees reaches the 108th. The committee detail is folded onto each row under a per-run cap, newest update_date first; a committee whose detail was captured is re-read only when its list row's update_date moves. Receipt committee-fixes-2026-09-26/3-rosters-118/. (measured 2026-09-26)

Data quality. The route over-declares: on 2026-09-19 committee/119 declared 238 and served 236 on its one terminal page with no continuation. The reader's terminal-page count refusal is the one refusal this rollup reads past, publishing what the publisher served with both numbers in the run log; every other walk refusal fails the run. detail_captured says whether the detail's columns are the publisher's or NULL; where the detail was captured, its subcommittees are the row's, an empty list included. The detail's counts (bill_count and the rest) are that day's statement, dated by detail_update_date. Rows are committees of every Congress: filter is_current for today's. 95 historical committees are keyed on their Library of Congress name-authority id (n79043125, the Senate's Indian Affairs, 1820-1946), which their history states as locLinkedDataId; none is current. A code the detail route cannot address is a list row with detail_captured false. All columns are stored as VARCHAR.
